This is my 3rd consecutive year visiting #1 and I certainly hope to return next year. The location and setting is incredible. As soon as I arrived after a long flight from Australia I couldn’t wait to get into the pool, sit on a lounger, watch the awesome sunsets and enjoy a glass of wine on the water’s edge. It really is a great relaxing place to enjoy my vacation.

This our fourth stay in #One and it will not be our last, we are already booked for next year. In finding a word to describe #One, only one comes readily to mind, WOW. On entering the apartment one is presented with beautiful views through the picture windows of St Joseph Sound. Each time we arrive we find there have been improvements to furnishings etc. Lesley and Alan take great pride in presenting #One as the best in this part of Florida. Nothing is too much trouble for them and any problems will be quickly sorted out by them and their manager, Lee. Other reviewers have commented on the local amenities, friendliness of the other residents and, above all, the beautiful courtyard which takes one back to another age. Lesley and Alan have also purchased an annual entrance pass for all Florida State Parks, apart from a few Parks being within one hours drive, it is particularly useful for Honeymoon Island which is less than 15 minutes away, we spend many hours there, walking the beaches, gathering shells or just sitting watching the world go by. In the evenings it is nice to sit outside with a glass of wine chatting to friends and other residents, our little part of Paradise.

Another month of dreams coming to the end. We’ve been coming here for several years and every year it’s just as wonderful. We’ve been to several places before, but now we don’t look anywhere else. Victoria Drive has everything we look for: biking, golf, beach, restaurants nearby. Lesley and Alan are exceptional hosts, very attentive. Often in the month I thought God bless Lesley and Alan for all this. Thank you again to you both for these wonderful moments.

#One in The Victoria Condos has the BEST location in all of Dunedin. We could watch runners on Victoria Drive and view sailboats and sunsets on St Joseph’s Sound from #One’s large windows that extended the entire front and side of the condo. We could take short walks from the condo to Weaver Park and walk the length of the fishing pier to enjoy watching the fishermen and the birds. From #One we could also walk to more than 20 fabulous restaurants, the Marina, Pinellas Trail and downtown Dunedin. We had an easy drive to Honeymoon Island beach and Publix Supermarket. #One was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and very well equipped. Lee Barr, the Howson’s local manager was ready and willing to assist with all of our needs. We are excited to be coming back to Dunedin and #One in 2023.

Oh how much we enjoyed our stay once again at #1 Victoria Drive. It is a dream place and such generous hosts. We had a wonderful April biking the Pinella Trail 2 blocks away, several courses golf nearby and the beaches Clearwater Beach or Honeymoon Island so close. I even had the honor of ringing the sunset bell. Charming little ritual that brings together occupants who wish to do so in the evening for the magnificent sunsets in front of the building. Really thank you Lesley and Alan for the chance you gave us to occupy your little paradise again this year, and thank you to Lee for always being on hand to help us when needed.

We fell in love with this apartment. We stayed one month and we were always under the charm. All is perfect. The view, the comfort, the location, the cleanliness, and Lee (the manager) is always contactable with the cell phone they left us. The pass for the states parks is also very appreciated. We hope be able going again for others years. The owners Lesley and Alan make us feel very welcome. Sincerely thank you for this so amazing stay.

Writing a review on a location which one has visited many times can be difficult. Not so for #1 though, from the first morning, on opening the blinds and seeing the beautiful blue sky with the sun sparkling on the water, you know this is why you keep coming back each year. It has a surreal beauty about it that gives one a feeling of peace. If another reason is needed, then look no further than Honeymoon Island. Wandering along the Nature Trail or just meandering through the surf along North Beach will bring on that ‘feel good’ factor. Great place to spend at least half a day. Dunedin, even though it is going through some changes, still retains it’s ‘Olde World’ charm. This is particulary so when strolling along Victoria Drive under the shade of the old oak trees growing there. A car is not really necessary when staying here as everything is within easy walking distance and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Further afield, there is Tarpon Springs or Clearwater which are only about 30 minutes drive away are well worth visiting. To add to the charm of #1 are the owners, Lesley and Alan, nothing is too much trouble, we feel like old friends. The apartment is well equipped and extremely comfortable and the air conditioning very efficient. We look forward to our return again next year.

We have been staying in #1 The Victoria for quite a number years now, this year was our first time back since Covid 19 pandemic. We had missed it so much, it was so wonderful to be back again and, as always, the apartment is spotless. The apartment is a dream, it’s picture windows look out over the water, and beyond to Caladesi Island, a Florida State park. The owners, Lesley and Alan, are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble, we feel like they are old friends. Also, should there be any problems, Lee, the manager is only a phone call away, again so friendly and welcoming. When we stay here, it feels like coming home.

Lesley and Alan Howson, Owners of #One Victoria, have the ideal location not only in the complex but also also Dunedin itself. Being the end unit allowed views of beautiful St. Joseph’s Sound from both front and side windows plus we were just a few steps from the swimming pool. Numerous shops and restaurants and the Pinellas Trail were a short walk from #One and Victoria Drive. Condo is well maintained, bright and cheerful and tastefully furnished. Local manager, Lee Barr was readily available if questions arose. We would give #One a FIVE Plus Plus rating. Can’t wait to stay there again in 2022!

This year at #One was wonderful as always.

Another month at #One Victoria Drive is over and it was another dream vacation. For the seventh year we had a wonderful vacation in #One.  All furnitures are very well, the bedding is amazing. In Dunedin  the weather is extraordinary . The condo is very close to the most beautiful bike path on the west coast, the Pinellas trail. Close to the main street with many restaurants and stores. Close to golf courses and a free pass from the owners to enter Honeymoon Island at any time where we could enjoy the beach for free, it’s truly total comfort. Thank you Lesley and Alan for your hospitality and your promptness in meeting our needs.

This was our second stay at #One. We continue to enjoy staying at this wonderful condo and plan to return next season. Everything that we stated in our first review (2015) is the same or better. The location, condo, complex and neighbors make this a great place to stay. The scenery is constantly changing when looking out of the windows onto St. Joseph’s Sound. #One continues to be well maintained and furnished. Appliances and furnishings are well maintained, repaired or replaced. The owners are constantly making improvements. They upgraded to a new king size bedroom suite which really enhanced our second visit. The freezer stopped working during our stay. Our neighbors secured our perishables in another condo and the owners and local manager installed a new refrigerator/freezer within two (2) days. What could have been a very unpleasant experience was reduced to a non-event. We thoroughly enjoy staying at #One and again recommend it as a unique place to stay.

Alan and Lesley’s Victoria Condominiums, Unit One is a fabulous place. It’s located 25 yards from the Gulf of Mexico, and I sat out front watching the sun set over the Gulf many nights. You can walk down town along a quaint one lane road that runs along side the Gulf. Windows line the Gulf side of the building making you feel like you’re almost outside even when you’re indoors. The interior of the Unit is very nice, and Alan and Lesley seem to have thought of everything as far as equipping the Unit goes. Alan and Lesley seem like they became my long distance friends during the back and forth associated with Unit One. Lee, their local Manager, is also a great person, and very attentive to any needs that arise……though Unit One is so well set up hardly anything arises other than planning my entry and exit and one or two random questions I had. I could go on, but the other 5 Star Reviews that I scanned cover much of the good things I would say.

#One at the Victoria is a beautiful condo with spectacular views of the water! The condo is nicely furnished with everything one would need for an extended vacation. You just need to bring your clothes, toiletries, and food; everything else is supplied. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything from plastic ware to cookware with up to date appliances. Although we have only dealt with the owners through email, and I have spoken to their manager on the phone; all are very accommodating and can’t do enough to make sure your stay is a pleasurable experience. We highly recommend staying at #One while visiting Dunedin, FL!!!!

We can’t say enough good things about Lesley and Alan. They are such great hosts with terrific communication. Their local helper Lee is also wonderful. The unit is arguably the best unit in the complex. The view alone is worth the price of admission. We watched dolphins out the window during our coffee most mornings. We have become friends with several of the owners and renters in other units. It’s a super friendly group. Always something to do and someone to do it with. We love the place and the hosts so much we’ve already booked next year.

From the serene views of St. Joseph Sound out the front windows to the full amenities of this condo, it is the perfect ticket to enjoying the artsy, friendly, laid-back vibe of Dunedin. It’s within easy walking to great shopping, dining, microbreweries, city parks and the Pinellas Trail. It’s easy to see a wonderful range of shorebirds and dolphins in the Sound. Plus, since the owners share their annual state parks pass, visiting nearby Honeymoon Island State Park offers access to the beautiful beach and trails where osprey and gopher tortoises are common sights. The owners and property manager are helpful, responsive and very pleasant. We can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

#One is a beautifully presented and well maintained apartment, there is everything required for a long stay, but if anything extra is needed then a call to Lee, the manager, and it will be provided. The owners, Lesley and Alan, together with Lee make one feel so welcome and to be one of the family and on entering there is the feeling of been ‘home’ for the next few weeks or months. The Victoria, with its old oak trees and palms, is on the water’s edge and is considered by many of its visitors to be the best kept secret in Dunedin. #One, with its end location and views looking over St Joseph’s Sound to Caladesi Island is the jewel in the crown. Lesley and Alan provide an annual pass to Florida’s parks and this includes free entry to Honeymoon Island. We love to spend a morning there walking the beaches, or sitting watching the world go by, North Beach is our favourite, there is always a dolphin or two to see. The sea is also safe to swim or paddle in. Dunedin is just a short walk away and although it is changing as the years go by, it still retains its ‘old world’ charm. The people are all so friendly and there are restaurants for almost every taste. A shrimp taco and beer at the ‘Olde Bay Cafe’ on the marina is a heavenly way to spend an idle lunch time. Why do we return so often? We can’t help ourselves, it draws us back every year.

We have rented five different Dunedin rentals in the last few years and this, by far, was the best. Best location, most updated interior, spectacular view, friendly neighbors, quiet, cozy & comfortable , easy parking( even for our family visitors), beautifully landscaped courtyard, and the pool had a great view of St Joseph’s Sound. Convenient to all types of shopping, easy drive to movie theater and church. We could not have ask for a more accommodating landlady, Lesley, and we are looking forward to our next stay.

There’s only one thing better than a month in #one Victoria Sunsets and that is three months. We have just returned to Canada after spending an amazing time in #one. Dunedin is a fabulous place to spend the winter months or I’m sure anytime in fact. Victoria Sunsets is a great complex just a short walk from downtown with all the best restaurants, bars and music.  The people are so friendly, inclusive and welcoming with everyone.  The camaraderie at sunset (aka happy hour) is something to look forward to. #One, in our opinion, is definitely the best of the best, the view is second to none. The unit itself is tastefully decorated and completely functional.  The kitchen is well equipped with everything you can possibly need for a long term stay.  I have to say, being English and still loving our cups of tea,  the electric kettle was a great addition this year. On top of all this the owners, Lesley and Alan are just great, nothing is too much trouble and no question goes unanswered.  An absolute pleasure to deal with.  Also just in case there is anything needing immediate attention their friend and manager, Lee, is just a phone call away. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed and look forward to returning some day.

You’ve set the bar high! Fabulous place, everything is perfect. We already love Dunedin but this is idyllic. We would most definitely love to return, of anywhere we have stayed this is by far the best. We love your place and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

This is our fourth stay at #One and it appears to get better each time. The 180 degree views of St. Joseph Sound and the islands, from inside the condo, make you feel like you are outside all the time. As always, #One is very well appointed and maintained by the owner’s and local manager. And, the grounds are well maintained. Victoria residents and visitors continue to “get together” daily, and for cookouts, holidays, birthdays, and any other reasons we can think of. The Toronto Blue Jay’s Baseball Team and The City of Dunedin have reached a new long-term agreement for minor league and spring training activities. There is a lot of growth, development and activity in the city. Add to this the restaurants, shopping, parks and festivals and #One on the Waterfront is a place you don’t want to leave and can’t wait to return to.

The Victoria it a beautiful condo situated on the water’s edge of St Joseph’s Sound on the Gulf of Mexico. It displays old world charm and #one enjoys pride of place with stunning views over the water – the best kept secret in Florida. We have been coming to the Victoria for a number of years now and this is our second time in #one. On entering there is a feeling of coming home.  It is clean and comfortably furnished and the kitchen has everything needed for an extended stay. Dunedin is within walking distance and with its delightful shops and restaurants is well worth exploring, we never tire of walking around. There is nothing quite like a stroll along the waterfront drive which is beautifully shaded even on the hottest of days, if one is lucky there may be the odd dolphin to see and always there is opportunity to watch the Ospreys and Pelicans fishing. Although we have only communicated with the owners by email, we feel as though we have become firm friends, they are so friendly and always promptly answer any query we may have, nothing is too much trouble. The Victoria, and #one in particular, is 5 star all the way. We can’t recommend it highly enough, it is just one of those places you visit once and keep going back to time and time again. We hope to stay here many more times in the coming years.

Always look forward to returning to the Victoria. Great location for Dunedin, Honeymoon Island and the sunsets. Owners and renters of the other condos are also really very friendly and it is lovely to return each year and be welcomed back by familiar, friendly faces. Sofa bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of space when i come and stay and share the apartment with my parents.

I have been coming back to Dunedin for several years now. Finally I got in to The Victoria. The best place ever. Most everything is in walking distance and Dunedin is such a great little place. Renting at the Victoria is great, renting from Lesley and Alen was even better. They were nice people to work with when organising our trip. We hope to rent the unit again soon. We give our recommendation for renting!
